YANGON, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) — Myanmar confirmed 189 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the tally to 616,852, according to the Ministry of Health on Sunday.
The health ministry said in a statement that these cases included 16 infected people who returned from abroad.
It said that health authorities tested 9,378 people for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, and the daily positivity rate was 2.0
