YANGON, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) — Myanmar confirmed 1,586 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total tally to 548,357, according to a release from its Ministry of Health on Monday.

The ministry said that a total of 23,874 lab samples were tested on Monday, and the daily positivity rate was 6.64 percent.
