YANGON, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) — Myanmar welcomed a total of 233,487 international tourists in 2022, according to the country’s Ministry of Hotels and Tourism on Thursday.

The number of international visitor arrivals in Myanmar last year was up by about 78.3 percent, compared to 130,947 tourists registered a year earlier, the ministry’s data showed.

China, Thailand and India were the biggest sources of tourist
