YANGON, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) — A friendship basketball competition, jointly organized by the Myanmar Chinese Chamber of Commerce (MCCOC) and the Myanmar Basketball Federation, is underway here to greet the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year.

The opening ceremony of the 10-day competition, which runs from Jan. 8 to 17, was held on Tuesday and attended by Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Chen Hai.
