BANGKOK, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) — A new round of seasonal monsoon rain is set to hit many parts of Thailand, which had been badly affected by previous floodings from record rainfall.

The Office of the National Water Resources on Thursday issued a flood warning in 24 provinces for Sept. 17-21 caused by heavy rain in these areas.

The northern, northeastern, central and eastern Thailand will be mainly affected.
