SAGAING, Myanmar – According to residents, regime forces destroyed more than 100 houses in the predominantly Catholic village of Chan Thar in the Sagaing Region on Tuesday.

The village, repeatedly raided since it was first attacked on May 7, used to be home to around 2,000 people living in 500 households. The majority are currently in hiding.

According to locals, Junta troops entered the village on Tuesda
