KUALA LUMPUR, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) — Malaysia’s wholesale and Retail trade rose 19.6 percent year on year to 1.6 trillion ringgit in 2022, official data showed Wednesday.

The Department of Statistics Malaysia said in a statement that the growth was underpinned by retail trade, which increased by 23.9 percent to settle at 661.1 billion ringgit.
