KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 (Xinhua) — Malaysia’s wholesale and retail trade recorded a monthly sales value of 138.5 billion ringgit (about 31.1 billion U.S. dollars), up 11.9 percent year-on-year in March, official data showed Wednesday.
The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) said in a statement that the growth was attributed to the retail trade sub-sector, which increased 17.7 percent to 58.7 billion ringgit.
