KUALA LUMPUR, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) — Malaysia’s manufacturing sector sales grew by 3 percent year-on-year to 161.3 billion ringgit (36.43 billion U.S. dollars) in October, official data showed Tuesday.
The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) said in a statement that the growth was primarily fueled by a robust 11.2 percent increase in the food, beverages and tobacco sub-sector.
