KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) — The Malaysian government has delivered 4.6 tons of essential supplies to Redang Island in Terengganu state ahead of expected flooding, the social welfare department said on Monday.

This is part of preparations for floods that are expected to affect up to 1,000 people on the island, with the supplies being delivered by ship, the department’s state director Mazura Ngah Abdul Manan
