KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) — Malaysia reported 6,377 new COVID-19 infections as of midnight Thursday, bringing the national total to 2,454,749, according to the health ministry.

Some 32 of the new cases are imported, with 6,345 being local transmissions, data released on the ministry’s website showed.

Another 95 deaths have been reported, bringing the death toll to 28,769.

About 6,637 patients
