KUALA LUMPUR, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) — Malaysia has reported another 3,684 new COVID-19 infections as of midnight Thursday, bringing the national total to 2,798,917, according to the health ministry.

There are another 321 new imported cases, with 3,363 being local transmissions, data released on the ministry’s website showed.

Another 12 deaths have been reported, bringing the death toll to 31,750.
