KUALA LUMPUR, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) — Malaysia reported another 3,510 COVID-19 infections as of midnight Thursday, bringing the national total to 2,731,713, according to the health ministry.

Some 95 of the new cases are imported, with 3,415 being local transmissions, data released on the ministry’s website showed.

Another 44 deaths have been reported, bringing the death toll to 31,265.
