KUALA LUMPUR, April 29 (Xinhua) — Malaysia reported 2,935 new COVID-19 infections as of midnight Thursday, bringing the national total to 4,443,318, according to the health ministry.

There are nine new imported cases and 2,926 local transmissions, data released on the ministry’s website showed.

A further 10 deaths have been reported, bringing the death toll to 35,536.
