KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) — Malaysia reported another 16,073 new COVID-19 infections as of midnight Monday, bringing the national total to 1,995,771.

Some 21 of the new cases are imported and 16,052 are local transmissions, according to the data published on the ministry’s website.

Another 413 more deaths have been reported, bringing the death toll to 21,124.
