VIENTIANE, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) — Laos recorded a trade deficit of 154 million U.S. dollars in September, marking the ninth straight month of trade deficit in 2024.

According to the latest figures from the Lao Trade Portal website, the total value of trade in September amounted to over 1 billion U.S. dollars, of which 455 million dollars was for exports and 609 million dollars for imports.
