VIENTIANE, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) — Laos’ Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, along with development partners, has held a series of disaster risk reduction workshops to empower women and boost community resilience.

The workshops were held in four districts across Khammuan and Champasak provinces, training 193 participants, including 112 women, Lao News Agency reported on Wednesday.
