VIENTIANE, June 6 (Xinhua) — Authorities in northern Laos’ Oudomxay province circulated a notice warning people living in Xay and Nga districts not to use or drink water from the Nga River.

The Oudomxay provincial Natural Resources and Environment Department issued a warning following an accident of a tanker carrying an unspecified acid overturned near the river on Sunday, Lao national TV reported on Thursday.
