VIENTIANE, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) — General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee Thongloun Sisoulith, chaired a midterm plenary meeting of the 11th LPRP, to discuss and consider several important issues in the country.

The meeting was held in Lao capital Vientiane on Aug. 14 to 18.
