NAIROBI, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) — Kenya’s half-year tea exports defied unfavorable weather to rise 19 percent compared to a similar period in 2020, the Tea Board of Kenya (TBK) said on Tuesday.

The exports stood at 296.7 million kg in the first six months of 2021, up from 250.6 million kg in a similar period in 2020, TBK said in a report released in Nairobi.
