Iowa [US], July 1 (ANI): Indian shuttler Tanvi Sharma said she ‘didn’t expect to play in the finals’ after finishing as the runner-up in the US Open 2025 badminton tournament held in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

In the women’s singles category, 16-year-old Tanvi surprised everyone with a strong performance throughout the tournament. She defeated players ranked World No. 23, 40, 50, and 58 to reach
