TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran beat Tajikistan 2-0 to win the 2023 Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) U-14 Girls Championship on Thursday.

Fatemeh Lotfzadeh and Maryam Khalili scored for Iran in the match held at the Dushanbe Central Stadium in Tajikistan.

Iran was held by Kyrgyzstan 1-1 in its first match and defeated Uzbekistan 1-0.

Uzbekistan became runner-up in the tournament.
