PADANG, Indonesia: At least 19 people have lost their lives, and seven others remain missing after heavy rainfall triggered flash floods and a landslide on Sumatra island in Indonesia.

The catastrophe struck the Pesisir Selatan district of West Sumatra province, with tons of mud, rocks, and trees cascading down a mountain, inundating riverside villages.
