JAKARTA, March 15 (Xinhua) — Indonesia recorded foreign debt of 405.7 billion U.S. dollars as of January, declining from 408.1 billion dollars in December 2023, Bank Indonesia said on Friday.

“The decline was contributed by a decrease in public and private sector external debts,” said Erwin Haryono, head of the communication department of the central bank.
