JAKARTA, March 31 (Xinhua) — Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Papua New Guinea’s Prime Minister James Marape meet on Thursday at the Indonesian Presidential Palace in Bogor, discussing bilateral cooperation, especially in trade and border opening.

Widodo expressed his optimism over the economic recovery of the two countries as the value of their two-way trade increased by 87 percent in 2021.
