JAKARTA, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) — Indonesia on Thursday confirmed 57,426 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total tally to 5,408,328, the Ministry of Health said.

According to the ministry, the death toll from COVID-19 in the Southeast Asian country rose by 317 to 147,342. The total number of recoveries from the pandemic rose to 4,674,873, including 42,518 new recoveries.
