NEW DELHI, May 2 (Xinhua) — India’s COVID-19 tally rose to 43,082,345 on Monday as 3,157 new cases were registered during the past 24 hours across the South Asian country, showed the federal health ministry’s latest data.

This is the fifth day of daily new cases surpassing the 3,000-mark in number in the country.

Delhi accounted for more than 47 percent of the new cases while reporting 5,997 active cases
