ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan called on the public on Thursday to take to the streets on Sunday (June 19) at 9 p.m. to stage a “peaceful demonstration” against rising inflation, which he blamed on a government “incapable of handling the economy.”

Imran warned in a recorded video message that if the country “sat idly by,” inflation would soar even higher in the coming days.
