PHNOM PENH, June 2 (Xinhua) — The Cambodian national football team defeated Timor-Leste 2-1 at home in an international friendly match here at the Morodok Techo National Stadium on Thursday night.

Live broadcast on the BTV news channel, the game attracted a crowd of more than 17,000 avid fans, mostly youth.
