Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], June 8 (ANI): International Arbiter Gopakumar Sudhakaran has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Arbiter for the 44th Chess Olympiad, becoming the first Indian to be named for this prestigious post for the world’s biggest chess event to be held next month near Chennai.
The appointment was made by the international chess body FIDE.
