DHAKA, Bangladesh – Before Donald Lu’s expected visit, Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher, the U.S. Senior Director for South Asia, is scheduled to arrive on Saturday evening to discuss issues of mutual interest with Bangladesh.

Donald Lu, appointed Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs on September 15, 2021, is expected to begin his visit to Bangladesh on January 15.
