Economists see Malaysia’s IPI to grow faster this year

KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 (Xinhua) — Economists have foreseen Malaysia’s industrial production index (IPI) to grow faster this year despite February IPI easing to 3.1 percent in February.

MIDF Research said in a note that it maintained its projection that Malaysia’s IPI will grow stronger at 3.7 percent this year, as compared to 1.1 percent in 2023.
