ISLAMABAD, Jan. 3 (Xinhua) — A thick blanket of fog starting from Tuesday night in Pakistan’s federal capital Islamabad and its twin city Rawalpindi affected the daily life of the residents.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) in its latest report on Wednesday informed that due to a stable atmosphere, prevailing dense foggy conditions would continue over Islamabad and other parts of the South Asian country
