YANGON, June 7 (Xinhua) — A fire broke out in Chanayethazan Township, Mandalay Region, on May 31 has resulted in a death toll that has now risen to six, an official from the Mandalay Region Fire Services Department told Xinhua on Friday.

Initially, there were no fatalities on the day of the fire, but 15 people were injured, five of them seriously.

Between the day of the fire and June 5, five people died
