YANGON, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) — The number of COVID-19 infections has risen to 409,509 in Myanmar after 3,410 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, according to a release from the Ministry of Health on Friday.

The release said that 93 more deaths were reported, bringing the death toll to 15,693.

A total of 358,074 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals so far.
