KUALA LUMPUR, July 8 (Xinhua) — Chinese shuttlers continued their success at the Malaysia Masters 2022 here on Friday, taking one semifinals spot in each of the five categories.

In the men’s singles, Lu Guangzu got the better of his compatriot Li Shifeng 21-14, 21-16. Olympic champion Chen Yufei outclassed Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara 21-18, 22-20 to reach the women’s singles semifinals.
