YEOSU, South Korea, July 22 (Xinhua) — Chinese shuttlers secured the final berths in both mixed doubles and women’s doubles at South Korea Open 2023 here on Saturday.

China’s mixed doubles pair Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin, who shocked the world No. 1 compatriots Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong in the quarterfinals, ousted Japan’s Yuta Watanabe and Arisa Higashino 21-12, 20-22, 21-12 in the semifinals.
