BEIJING, May 29 (Xinhua) — Chinese midfielder Li Yuanyi will miss China’s next two FIFA World Cup qualifiers in June after receiving an additional one-match ban for his foul in the win over Singapore.

Li received a red card for his tackle on a Singapore player in the 79th minute of China’s 4-1 victory over the South Asian team in late March, resulting in an automatic ban for China’s next match.
