China’s weekly export container shipping index edges down

SHANGHAI, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) — China’s index of export container transport edged down in the week ending Sept. 30, according to the Shanghai Shipping Exchange.

The average China Containerized Freight Index (CCFI) went down 0.5 percent to 3,220.55, according to the exchange.

The sub-reading for the Southeast Asia Service led the loss with a week-on-week drop of 4 percent.
