China’s Jiangsu reports surging foreign trade in Jan.-Aug.

NANJING, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) — East China’s Jiangsu Province, one of the country’s major foreign trade hubs, saw robust foreign trade growth in the first eight months of 2021, local customs authorities said Wednesday.

Jiangsu’s import and export volume rose by 17.1 percent year on year to more than 3.28 trillion yuan (about 509 billion U.S. dollars) from January to August, according to Nanjing customs.
