China-Vietnam freight train trips rise 117 pct in Jan.-Sept.

NANNING, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) — South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region handled 235 China-Vietnam freight train trips in the first nine months of this year, up 117 percent year on year.

The number has surpassed that of the whole year of 2020, said the China Railway Nanning Group Co., Ltd.

A total of 6,772 twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) containers were transported from January to September.
