BEIJING, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) — The Chinese national football team will start a 52-man training camp in Shanghai next Tuesday for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Japan and Vietnam.

RCD Espanyol striker Wu Lei and five naturalized players are among the 52 players called up by the newly-appointed head coach Li Xiaopeng for the national squad’s first training camp in 2022.
