NAYPYITAW, Myanmar – Two bombs exploded near a checkpoint manned by Junta traffic police and armed plainclothes military personnel on the road to Naypyitaw’s airport on Tuesday morning around 9 a.m.

Several residents told the press that the explosion occurred while more than 30 military personnel were at the check post.

The site is close to the military proxy Union Solidarity and Development Party’s Naypyit
