KATHMANDU, May 12 (Xinhua) — British climber Kenton Cool scaled Mount Qomolangma for the 18th time from the Nepali side on Sunday morning, becoming the first foreign national to summit the world’s highest peak so many times.

Cool reached the top of the 8,848.86-meter-high mountain at 8:30am local time, while his Nepali guide Dorji Gyaljen made his 22nd summit of the peak.
