MANILA, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) — A seven-year-old boy was killed after the motorcycle driven by his father crashed into a concrete post in Batangas province, south of Manila, police said Saturday.

The accident happened at around 8:30 p.m. local time (1230 GMT) on Friday in Rosario town. Initial investigations showed the father lost control of the motorcycle which hit the gutter and crashed into the roadside post.
