COX’s Bazar, Bangladesh – On Monday morning, a group of fishermen captured almost 300 maunds (11,100 kg) of fish in a single throw of the net, earning them Tk 600,000 ($6,988 U. S. Dollars).
Md Kalim Ullah, a fisherman from Majher Para, and his team caught the fish near Shah Pori’s Island’s Pashchim Para beach in Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar.
They retrieved the boon from the sea on Monday morning during low tide.
