KHULNA, Bangladesh – Farmers in Khulna’s Rupsha Upazila have recreated the map of Bangladesh by cultivating a new rice variety, “Bangabandhu Dhan-100,” in two different colors to commemorate the birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Father of the Nation.

Purple-colored paddy was used to create the border, while green paddy created the map’s body.
