DHAKA, Bangladesh – The Bangladesh government has issued new rules to regulate the sale and consumption of alcohol throughout the country.

Hotels, restaurants, and other facilities that serve food and display and sell alcohol will be able to apply for liquor sale permits under the new rules. Clubs and organizations with a specified number of members possessing drinking permits can also apply for the licenses.
