DHAKA, Bangladesh – Before the 12th parliamentary elections, the ruling Awami League met with the Commonwealth’s election observation team.

The meeting was held on Friday morning at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon in Dhaka.

General Secretary Obaidul Quader led the Awami League delegation, while the Commonwealth delegation was led by former Jamaican Prime Minister Orette Bruce Golding.
