Asia tops biggest market for Vietnam’s peppercorn

HANOI, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) — Asia is the largest market for Vietnamese peppercorns, accounting for 52.7 percent of the nation’s total export volume of the product, according to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association.

Among Asian countries, China is the Vietnam’s biggest peppercorn importer with 60,135 tons in 2023, accounting for 22.8 percent of total, Vietnam News Agency reported Friday, citing the association.
